With the “opening of the border” to the U.S. for fully vaccinated Canadians, many Canadians including myself are contemplating and preparing for their extended trip down south. But the continuing global pandemic and the ever increasing travel restrictions and Government regulations intended to prevent the spread of COVID-19 (Delta variant) has caused much angst. Thanks for the recap, but what concerns me is what is going on in Great Britain, the delta virus seems to be mutating, so my concern about traveling besides all of the things you mention is that we get to a place and then won’t be able to get back home. For Y and me home it will be lol. If you decide to go have a great time and I hope my concern does not come to fruition. Did you get the information I had on John Davis.

    • yes I did get the info and have started a file. I share your concern about travel to the UK or elsewhere in Europe. In fact Joan and I just cancelled a trip to Hungary and Germany (River Cruise) scheduled for next May….part of the reason being the global uncertainty, changing public health requirements and potential multiple screening requirements as you go from country to country
