  1. Hi, Bill! Another great piece! I could really relate to this one, since Murray Hutchings (the son of Harry Hutchings) and I were such great friends when we were growing up people thought we were brothers because they saw us together so often. I purchased sports equipment from the store, and Murray’s dad even restrung my tennis racquet. And I can recall one time a special whistle came into the store that a dog was supposed to be able to hear, but humans could not. Murray decided we should try it out, so we went out the back door and he gave it a good, long blow. Nothing happened, but as we turned to go back into the store I looked back, and there was one of the biggest dogs I have even seen running towards us at top speed! We both immediately decided the whistle worked–and dashed back into the store as quickly as we could!
