  1. Bill, I finally found the time to read the family history of the Notts and Higdons. I much enjoyed your telling of their life stories, keep it up. Many thanks.

  2. Earl Morris suggested I touch base with you, Bill. He speaks highly of your genealogy research and writing of local history. I applaud that. Based in Calgary, all my life, I have ended up involved in the Alberta Family Histories Society, now as webmaster and also president. Am also involved in the Guild of One-Name Studies. Have a passion for supporting local Alberta projects for family histories, including my own. The AFHS is undertaking a new additional website for the recording and preservation of cemeteries in Calgary and area. It is underway and already has over 65K burial records and images. Lots more to come. The plan is to also capture the stories of the peoples, the pioneers, the notables, the notorious, on a society-supported web service. You can visit the link below, but be cautioned that this is still a work-in-progress. The ‘newspaper’ page under the Narratives tab has been fun. Be glad to share more information if you are interested.
