  1. Hi, Bill! Many thanks for another great piece. In addition to the factual information, I was quite interested in two of the pictures. I hadn’t realized that the N.W.M.P. barracks in Medicine Hat (p.37) was so extensive. (Am I correct that one of the buildings ended up being used by the Medicine Hat branch of the Canadian Legion?) Another picture that caught my attention was the one showing the earliest residents of Medicine Hat. I hadn’t seen this picture before;
    my great grandpappy, J. H. G. Bray, looks different here compared to the picture I have of him in his Mountie uniform and riding a white horse!
