Hi, Bill! Another very interesting piece. Quite by chance, I grew up on Third Street a block away from Macleod Trail, so I found the pictures very interesting. However, a minor quibble. You state “Prior to the arrival of the North West Mounted Police in 1873….” I was under the impression that, while the Mounties were formed in 1873, their famous march west did not begin until 1874. My ol’ memory muscles ain’t what they used to be, but I thought I would mention this minor point in case I were correct (for a change!).
