Hi, Bill! Many thanks–another very interesting piece! Being a bit of a rail fan, I really appreciated seeing the picture of the CPR steam locomotive–a great photo!
I knew that at one time there actually was “a Pashley” at Pashley–I assume that the fact there was no river running through Pashley was a factor in the town’s demise.
And before I close, I must also mention that I think it’s great that you have a “direct connection” to Pashley because of its railway sign!
