“The Many Shades of Gray”: The Story of Two Medicine Hat Airmen from WWII Who Made the Ultimate Sacrifice for Love of Country. Posted on July 19, 2021 by wanhorn Here is another interesting chapter in the history of Medicine Hat READ ON
Again, a very well-written piece of history. I totally enjoy reading these. Thanks again!!
Many thanks, Bill–a well-researched, well-written and poignant article that todays “younger generation” should read!
On a personal standpoint, it brought back memories. I can remember the Gas City Planing Mill (I always thought it was situated in a strange location for a lumber yard, being located on a very “desirable” street), I watched the Medicine Hat Tigers play hockey in the old arena on Fifth Avenue, and I can remember skating at Gray’s Rink. Ah, memories!
